"Hello family! Today was training day 4. ...Saturday Oscar Company starts forming day 1 which means we aren't the babies anymore :) Today we wore our cevlars (helmets) for the first time at MCMAP...but our obstacle course got rained out, so we just learned some MCMAP moves with our M16's beneath the thunderdome outside. The storm was super refreshing, lol. ...Our SDI is amazing. She used to be a green belt which are the ones who yell at you a lot, so she can jump in that roll really quick if we step out of line but she has talks with us and lets us open up to her one on one if we need to. She gives us compliments and encouragement we all need to finish this and push through :) so we are very blessed to have her. Plus your letters are amazing...you have no idea! I didn't think they would be that big a deal really but they are so comforting :D the perfect ending to a tough day with people who all that comes out of their mouths is negative lol. ... We have classes everyday now and our teacher is a male drill instructor so he is really cool and to be honest its a nice break from all the girls around :b ... today we had a class on spirituality from Chaplain Clark and it was cool... Next week we finally get to go to the BX... I love ya'll so much :) I really really do... my rackmate and the girl on the top rack next to me are both really cool :) we have a little buddy system going on :b Ya'll are in my prayers every night.
