Family Day

On Parris Island by 0530, we could hear the platoons all around us in the dark barking replies to their DI's.  Finally the sun and the light... waiting for first sight of Sara.





First sight of our Marine came just after 0630. They marched in and together with N Company warmed up for the Run.
It was interesting to listen to parents trying to figure out which one was their child... quite emotional for sure. Sara is front left at the end.

By 0715 they were back on the Parade Deck... Sara carrying the 4th Batallion flag in the front for the 4 miles

Then it was over to the All Weather Training Facility for videos from 0830 to 0930

Waiting for D and N Companies to arrive...which they did to tremendous applause as they marched in platoon by platoon for the Liberty Ceremony
