Sara gets "picked up" tomorrow

Today is day three and Sara finishes her Recruit Receiving processing days today. No more yellow foot prints after today. Sara is one of approximately 600 female recruits. She has had medical exams, dental exams, vision exam, and maybe has even had her wisdom teeth taken out (who knows). I bet she looks sharp in her uniforms. She also has her field gear...canteen, web belt, poncho, field jacket, gloves, etc). She is doing everything "by the numbers." She is doing some drill, some marching and basically getting yelled at a lot... she has even learned how to make her bunk... "rack"... use the "head" and take a shower "by the numbers"... I wonder how short her hair is... She will perform her IST (initial strength test) tomorrow and get "picked up" by a platoon. At Parris Island, F Battalion is the female Recruit training battalion, and is divided into three companies which have two platoons each (numbering 50 to 60 recruits per platoon). Temps have been ranging from the low 70's to the mid 80's until today and it is 90 and humid as I write so she is enjoying herself for sure... probably has the afternoon off to head over to Hilton Head and the beach... ya think?
